
Mar is currently the Content Associate of Limitless Lab, a global social innovation company based in the Philippines. One of her contributions is co-designing a human rights toolkit for students across various communication fields.
Throughout her academic journey at the University of the Philippines Diliman, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and actively participated in the Union of Journalists of the Philippines - UP. Her writing primarily revolves around advocacy and solutions, which she incorporated into her work for campus publications and other media outlets. She graduated cum laude and a nominee for best thesis.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Mar is the proud founder of the Rotaract Club of Mega Edsa, an organization dedicated to driving positive change within the local community. She has also held district-level leadership roles in RID3780, Quezon City.
Her passion for music thrives through her involvement as the lyricist for the Treble Choir Association of the Philippines. She also holds the position of Vice President in Kantabella, an all-female choir, and serves as the Marketing Manager of the UP Concert Chorus.
